Since Enzo Ferrari built the first car to carry his name in 1947 Ferrari has become the most evocative and revered automotive brand in the world. It has also become the benchmark for both design and performance, and its Formula One team has won more races than any other in the history of the sport. The Ferrari name has a unique magic that not only evokes the thrill and passion of racing, but also encapsulates a timeless and aspirational glamour.
The Shurlock Collection brings together seven of the finest Ferraris ever built, dating from 1963 to 2020, with each example having been meticulously curated to ensure flawless provenance. The collection includes Ferrari’s 5 ‘halo’ cars, the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari, limited-run cars that are each considered to be the pinnacle of Ferrari’s technological achievements in each era since the advent of the supercar in the 1980s.
In addition to the 5 halo cars, the collection also includes a car that epitomises 1960s style and sophistication, one that many believe to be the most beautiful Ferrari ever built, the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso. The Lusso was a fast, elegant and comfortable tourer, the last of Ferrari’s highly successful 250 range that had started in 1953 with the Europa, and included 2 of its most successful racers, the Tour de France and the GTO.
The Shurlock Collection’s most recent addition is the Monza SP1, a V12 front-engined, screenless ‘speedster’ that is the first of Ferrari’s Icona range inspired by the finest historic Ferraris. The Monza shares its name with a racing Ferrari from the 1950s, the 750 Monza, and is also inspired by two other great Ferraris from that era, the 166 and the 250 Testarossa.
The Shurlock Collection is a celebration of Ferrari, the greatest car marque in the world, and it brings together some of the rarest and most desirable models ever built. This spectacular collection is now available for public displays, car shows, films and photoshoots.
